Terms of Use

1. Scope of the Service

The Interview Kit Generator (the "Service") provides tools that assist users in designing structured interview processes, generating competency-based interview questions, assigning interview signals, and creating interviewer kits for specific roles. The Service is intended to support users in structuring fair, consistent hiring processes and does not replace professional, legal, or HR judgment in any hiring decision.

2. User Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to any role descriptions, competency inputs, or other content you submit to the Service ("Input Content"), and to the interview kits and questions generated as a result ("Output Content"). TAOps Consulting does not claim ownership over your Input Content or Output Content. You grant TAOps Consulting a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and process Input Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

3. AI Processing

Our tools use Claude, an AI system developed by Anthropic (US-based). By using our tools, you acknowledge that content you submit is processed by Anthropic's API to generate outputs. TAOps Consulting does not use your data to train AI models. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed via their API. All AI-generated content is intended to assist human decision-making and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before use.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing Output Content before use in any interview or hiring process
• Ensuring questions and processes comply with applicable employment, equality, and anti-discrimination law in your jurisdiction
• Confirming that generated content is appropriate for the role, level, and context
• All hiring decisions made by you or your organisation

The Service is a tool to support structured interview design. Final responsibility for all hiring decisions remains with you and your organisation.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content intended to unlawfully discriminate against protected characteristics
• Circumvent copyright or licensing restrictions
• Misrepresent the authorship or source of generated content
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without prior written consent

6. Team and Organisational Use

If you use the Service under a Team or Enterprise plan, you are responsible for ensuring that invited team members are authorised to access your organisation's kits and data. You are accountable for all activity under your organisation's account.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." TAOps Consulting disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and merchantability. We make no guarantee that generated interview questions will be legally compliant in all jurisdictions — always consult qualified HR or legal advice for your specific context.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAOps Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of business, reputational harm, or claims arising from hiring decisions made using Output Content from the Service.

9. VAT and Taxes

All fees are exclusive of VAT/BTW. Dutch VAT applies at the applicable rate. EU business customers with a valid VAT number may be subject to reverse charge. EU consumers are charged VAT at the applicable rate in their Member State.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be communicated by email or notice within the tool.
